The South-Central Neighborhood Action Plan (SCNAP), created in Fall 2012 by the Neighborhood Association in partnership with undergraduate students from the Ball State University Department of Urban Planning, contain a number of initiatives related to safer and more efficient transportation. Initiatives include improving sidewalks, improving roads, and improved access to the MITS, among others. Initiatives from the SCNAP can be applied to the part of Thomas Park/Avondale that is included in this project as well.
